Ordering & Sizing
How do I choose the correct decal size?
Always measure the exact area where you plan to apply the decal before ordering. The same vehicle model may have different caliper sizes, trim levels, or aftermarket components, so we do not recommend choosing a size based only on the year, make, and model. Compare your available space with the dimensions listed on the product page. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering and we'll be happy to help.
How many decals are included in my order?
The quantity included is shown on each product page. Most Stickeezy brake caliper decal sets include 2 decals of the selected size, giving you a complete set for two calipers. Some motorcycle, truck, and specialty decal kits include different quantities, so please check the product description for the exact contents of your set.
How are decal sizes measured?
Unless otherwise stated on the product page, decal size refers to the overall width of the design. The height is automatically scaled to maintain the original proportions of the artwork. For example, selecting a 4-inch decal means the design will be approximately 4 inches wide, while the height will vary depending on the shape of the logo or lettering.
Can I order a custom size or color?
Yes. Custom sizing is available for many Stickeezy designs, and we offer a variety of vinyl colors. If you need a size or color that is not currently listed, contact us before placing your order. Let us know which design you need, your preferred dimensions, and the color you're looking for, and we'll confirm the available options.
I couldn't find the desired sticker sketch on the site, what should I do?
It's not a problem. We work with each client individually. Contact us and tell us in your own words what kind of sticker you want to receive? Maybe you saw a similar one on the Internet, or took a picture of a car passing by on the street. We will help you find the desired sticker layout, and if not, we will try to create a layout from your words! It's free.
Application & Care
How do I apply my vinyl decals?
Start with a clean, dry, and cool surface. Remove all dirt, wax, grease, and other contaminants before installation. Before removing the backing paper, firmly rub over the decal and transfer tape with a plastic card or squeegee to make sure the vinyl is properly attached to the transfer tape. Carefully remove the backing, position the decal, press it firmly onto the surface, and slowly peel away the transfer tape. Allow the adhesive time to bond before washing or exposing the area to heavy moisture.
What surfaces can Stickeezy decals be applied to?
Stickeezy vinyl decals work best on smooth, clean, non-porous surfaces such as painted automotive panels, properly prepared brake calipers, glass, metal, and many smooth plastic surfaces. Avoid applying decals to dirty, oily, heavily textured, rusty, peeling, or damaged surfaces, as these conditions can prevent the adhesive from bonding properly.
What is the recommended temperature for installation?
For best results, we recommend applying vinyl decals at approximately 50–90°F (10–32°C). The surface itself should also be within a comfortable installation temperature range. Avoid applying decals to extremely cold or hot surfaces, as temperature can affect how well the adhesive bonds.
Can I wash my vehicle after applying the decals?
Yes. Once properly installed and given enough time for the adhesive to bond, Stickeezy vinyl decals can be exposed to normal vehicle washing. We recommend waiting at least 24–48 hours after installation before washing the area. When using a pressure washer, avoid directing a high-pressure stream at close range directly against the edges of the decal.
What if my decal or transfer tape arrives wrinkled?
Minor wrinkles in the transfer tape can sometimes occur during shipping and usually do not affect the vinyl decal underneath. Vinyl is flexible and will conform to the application surface. Before installation, place the decal on a flat surface and firmly smooth over it with a plastic card or squeegee. If the actual vinyl appears damaged rather than just the transfer tape, please contact us before applying it.
Brake Caliper Decals
Are Stickeezy decals suitable for brake calipers?
Yes. Many Stickeezy decals are specifically designed for use on brake calipers. For the best adhesion, apply them to a clean, smooth, properly painted or prepared surface that is completely free of brake dust, grease, wax, and other contaminants. Always allow freshly painted calipers to fully cure before applying vinyl decals.
Should I apply clear coat over brake caliper decals?
We recommend applying a compatible automotive clear coat over brake caliper decals for additional protection and a more integrated finished appearance. Clear coating can help protect the vinyl from repeated cleaning, brake dust, road contaminants, and exposure to demanding conditions. Always make sure the decal is properly installed before applying clear coat, and follow the clear coat manufacturer's instructions for compatibility, application, and curing.
Can I apply a decal over an existing caliper logo?
We do not recommend applying a new decal directly over an existing raised, painted, or vinyl logo. Stickeezy decals are precision die-cut and have no background, so the existing design may remain visible around or through parts of the new decal. For the cleanest result, start with a smooth, clean surface with the previous logo removed or properly covered during refinishing.
How do I prepare my brake calipers before applying decals?
Make sure the caliper is completely cool before installation. Thoroughly remove brake dust, grease, oil, wax, and other contaminants, then allow the surface to dry completely. The application area should be smooth and in good condition. If the calipers were recently painted, allow the paint to fully cure according to the paint manufacturer's instructions before installing the decals.
Do front and rear brake calipers use the same decal size?
Not always. Front and rear calipers can differ significantly in size and shape, even on the same vehicle. Measure the usable flat area on each caliper before ordering rather than assuming one size will fit both. If you need different sizes for the front and rear, contact us and we'll help you determine the best available options.
What size brake caliper decal should I choose?
Measure the flat, usable area of your brake caliper before ordering. Choose a decal that is slightly smaller than the available space so the entire design fits comfortably without extending over edges, curves, bolts, or openings. Do not choose a size based only on your vehicle's year, make, or model, as caliper dimensions can vary by trim level, brake package, and aftermarket modifications. If you're unsure, send us your measurements and we'll be happy to help.
How should I measure my brake caliper for a decal?
Measure the width and height of the smooth, relatively flat area where you want the decal to be installed. Do not measure the entire caliper. Exclude curved edges, bolts, openings, and heavily textured areas. Compare the usable space with the decal dimensions listed on the product page and leave a small amount of space around the design for easier installation and a cleaner finished look.
Can you tell me what size fits my vehicle?
We can help you choose a size, but we cannot guarantee fitment based only on the vehicle's year, make, and model. Brake calipers can vary between trim levels, factory brake packages, replacement parts, and aftermarket upgrades. The most reliable method is to measure the actual application area on your caliper and compare those measurements with the available decal sizes. If you send us your measurements, we can recommend the closest option.
Can I order different sizes for the front and rear calipers?
Yes. Because front and rear brake calipers often have different dimensions, different decal sizes may provide a better fit. If the size combination you need is not available as a standard option, contact us with the design, color, and sizes you need before ordering, and we'll let you know what options are available.
Materials & Durability
What type of vinyl does Stickeezy use?
Stickeezy decals are made using quality Oracal vinyl selected for automotive and outdoor applications. We primarily use Oracal 751 for many of our standard colors, while certain specialty colors and finishes may use other Oracal vinyl series. The exact material can vary depending on the color and design selected.
Are Stickeezy decals waterproof and weather-resistant?
Yes. Our vinyl decals are designed for outdoor use and can withstand normal exposure to rain, sunlight, road conditions, and vehicle washing when properly installed. For the best performance, apply the decal to a clean, smooth surface and allow the adhesive sufficient time to bond before exposing it to water or harsh conditions.
How long do vinyl decals last?
Vinyl lifespan depends on the material, installation, surface condition, climate, sun exposure, cleaning methods, and where the decal is installed. Proper surface preparation and installation can significantly improve durability. Automotive applications exposed to high heat, brake dust, chemicals, or frequent pressure washing may experience more wear than decals installed on less demanding surfaces.
Will the color fade over time?
Quality automotive vinyl is designed to maintain its appearance during normal outdoor use, but all materials can gradually change with prolonged exposure to UV light, heat, weather, chemicals, and repeated cleaning. The rate of fading varies depending on the vinyl color, finish, location of the decal, and environmental conditions.
Can Stickeezy decals be removed later?
Yes. Vinyl decals can generally be removed when you want to replace or change the design. Gentle heat can help soften the adhesive and make removal easier. Remove the vinyl slowly rather than pulling it aggressively. Adhesive residue, if any, can usually be cleaned with a surface-safe adhesive remover. Removal results can vary depending on how long the decal has been installed and the condition of the surface underneath.
Are the decals printed or die-cut?
Most Stickeezy designs are precision die-cut from colored vinyl rather than printed onto a clear or colored background. This means the surrounding material is removed, leaving only the intended lettering or graphic after installation. The surface of your vehicle becomes the background of the finished design.
Orders, Shipping & Custom Requests
Are Stickeezy decals made to order?
