Vinyl lettering is:
a versatile and customizable option for creating signs and adding decorative lettering to various surfaces. Whether you need business signs, boat lettering, car lettering, or home decor wall lettering, vinyl letters and numbers can be used to create a professional and eye-catching design. With a wide variety of letter styles, colors, and sizes to choose from, you can easily personalize your vinyl lettering to fit your specific needs. The vinyl lettering design process begins with a computer-generated design, which is then sent to a plotter that cuts out each letter's shape. This process allows for precision and accuracy in the lettering's design, ensuring that each letter is cut to the exact specifications needed for your sign. Additionally, your vinyl lettering design can also incorporate numbers, logos, or graphics, making it a fully customizable option for your signage needs. Premium vinyl is used for creating these stickers, which is a thin and conformable material that allows for easy application over substrates with rivets, corrugations, and complex curves. Once your vinyl lettering is prepared, applying it is a straightforward process. Simply peel off the backing and paste the decal onto your desired surface, creating a professional and long-lasting finished product.

1
Clean the surface
To start, prepare your surface by wiping it clean with an alcohol-based cleaner to remove any harmful materials. Ensure the room temperature is between 45° and 90° Fahrenheit, and avoid applying lettering to a humid target site.
2
Degrease
Degreasing is the process of removing grease, oil, dirt, and other contaminants from a surface using a cleaning agent or solvent. Degreasing can be done using various methods such as wiping with an alcohol-based cleaner, using a degreasing solution, or using a mechanical cleaning process.
3
Fix the sticker
Once your surface is ready, place a strip of masking tape at the top of your custom vinyl graphic. The pre-spaced vinyl lettering and pre-masked transfer tape can be applied easily all at once, and the transfer tape will help to keep everything in place during the application process.
4
Measure & Align
Aligning stickers is important to ensure that they are applied evenly and in the desired position on the surface. If stickers are not aligned properly, they can appear crooked or uneven, which can detract from their appearance and make them less effective in conveying their intended message.
5
Remove paper backing
Hold the bottom edge of the decal away from the application surface and flip it over. Next, remove the wax liner to expose the sticky vinyl backing. The vinyl lettering is suitable for use on smooth, non-porous surfaces, but will not adhere well to textured, perforated, or corrugated surfaces.
6
Squeegee the decal
Using the a squeegee or any type of a plastic card, apply pressure to the stick-on vinyl letters on the surface where you want them, using a top-to-bottom motion similar to that of a windshield wiper. Take care to avoid trapping pockets of air beneath the decal, as this can result in unsightly bubbles.
7
Expel bubbles
It is important to expel bubbles from a sticker during application because bubbles can detract from the appearance of the sticker and make it look unprofessional or sloppy. Bubbles can also compromise the adhesive bond between the sticker and the surface, potentially causing the sticker to peel or fall off over time. Therefore, it is important to ensure that any bubbles are removed during the application process to ensure that the sticker looks its best and remains securely attached to the surface.
8
Final: Remove transfer tape
Once you remove the top layer of paper, your vinyl letters will be in place and ready to make a permanent mark in your community! If you have any questions about your vinyl lettering order, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team, who will be happy to guide you through the process. Remember! Transfer tape is needed only to transfer the sticker, and cannot be a protective layer.
